Apple IPOD Video

Overview
The apple IPOD Video starts off with a much better feel and display than its other predacessors. It's slimmer and holds more on the Harddrive, now we IPOD videos with 60 and 80GB drives more than enough for movies, music and pictures. The demensions are just awesome.
It is about 10% thinner than the old 4th GEN 20GB Ipod which is quite remarkable.

Display
It has a wider LCD Screen measuring at 2.5" with a QVGA Resolution. And when watching a video on the Ipod you'll be able to view it in more than 65,000 colors which is stunning quality, even though we'd still like it to be on a 3" display we'll still settle for 2.5" at the moment.

Controls
Whats more to say about this catergory. Everyone knows how to work an Ipod and this is certaintly no different, no instruction manuals needed here, just go at it as soon as you open it up and get it charging.
The controls are straight forward for anyone with an easy accesible click-wheel to scroll numerous videos, songs and pictures, a play button, a fast forwards/skip and a rewind button and a menu button for easy accesibility to the menu. All of this is located on the click-wheel. You can use the add-on Ipod control which is good if you are wanting to use it on the Television.
But all in all it's an ease to navigate and play Videos, Songs and pictures.

Features
The features offered by the new Apple Ipod is the fact that it can play videos. The video format is H.264 mp4. Moving up to 768kbps in a resolution of 320x420 pixels with 30 frames per second. The videos on the ipod run smoothly and perfectly.
You can also watch your videos via television by connecting the AV RCA Cables to the dock in to your AV Inputs in your TV, the only downfall is because of the limited resoulotion it doesn't look to good on your television set but i guess that is not the entire purpose it was created for.
You can also store your images from your camera on to the Ipod which is ideal if your away from a computer and don't want to lose those photo's or if you need room on your Camera's Card.

Conclusion
All in all the new Apple Ipod Video is a great product produced by Apple and is a great portable device which can store and play most formats of media.

Apple Air Macbook Review

Overview
The new invention by Apple is the latest macbook air,
with a slick new design, and i do mean "slick", it is full of features for such a small, fine, stunning design. Flat on a desk the macbook air stands at barely 19mm high at its highest point on only weighs up to a remarkable 1.38KG.
This ultraportable macbook is quite a unique design, and whats even more surprising is that it doesn't feel so insubstanial and in fact it is quite the opposite. The base may be quite thin but the precision-machined internals mean there is nary a hint of flex, no matter how enthusiastically you dare to grapple with it.

Display
The 13.3 inch Glossy Display LCD screen -it's outstandingly slight, and has to be violently heavyhandled before there was any sign of display distortion. The Apple Macbook airs screen resolution is still at 1280 x 800, the display gives outstanding picture quality. The colours are rich and vibrant and the LED backlighting provides such a rich and high quality brightness that even the whites look impressively clear and tint free.

Components
The Macbook Air requires some serious compromises with it's unique skinny frame when it comes to components, however. The review model is the cheapset of Apple's two basic configurations, sporting a low-voltage Intel P7500 processor running at a modest 1.6Ghz, 2GB of RAM and a tiny 1.8" 80GB Solid State Harddrive. The processor is still a dual core of course, but it's low voltage and low power demands help the macbook air keep cool under pressure.

Conclusion
The mackboor air is a bit sluggish on running movies which was surprising and the fact that it only comes with one USB port is a bit of a sting. You can get an ethernet port but you will have to pay extra. The downfall is mainly the fact that it does not have an optical drive and does not stay up with the sony VAIO 9hr battery life for an ultraportable. The lack of an ethernet port will frustrate the user if needing a wired connection as well.
In ending there is definetely room for improvement as was with the first gen of Apple IPODs and Iphones.
All together its ulraportable but needs improvement.
